Awareness Campaign

*WCTF Mission Triad is Training, Teaching, and Technology

Project Summary:

To continue to increase the number of pediatric organ transplants, we must continue to reach out to our own local communities to increase awareness of the needs and benefits of organ donation. The WCTF proposes to facilitate an advertising campaign focused on the Spanish speaking community within the broader Southern California region. Through the use of radio and print media, we will develop a campaign promoting the importance of organ donation. Funds will be used to cover design, production, print costs and air time. The advertising medium we will use will depend on the amount of funds raised. With $20,000, the WCTF will launch a radio campaign on Spanish speaking radio stations and a display ad campaign in Spanish language newspapers. We will use public service announcement services wherever possible and will encourage pro bono leverage in advertising campaign architecture. With a clear call to action, our goal is to increase the number of registered donors substantially through the WCTF website, thereby increasing the number of pediatric organ transplants within the U.S
